BISD Board - March 20, 2007
BISD Board of Trustees Meeting - March 20, 2007
Agenda.
Jumps to Lehmann's & Escobedo's respective temper tantrums from the 5-2 approval of the superintendent's revised recommendation for 6th high school architect.
If Gonzalez can admit defeat in a mature fashion, why can't "Chateau Whatever" Lehmann and Escobedo?

BISD BOC/Facilities - February 1, 2007
BISD Bond Oversight/Facilities Committees Joint Meeting - February 1, 2007
Agenda.
Below, are the BISD Bond Oversight Committee's and the Board Facilities Committee's preliminary top 3 rankings of the five architectural firms asked to make presentations for construction of the planned high-school (above video).
| B.O.C. | BISD Facilites |
| 1. Gomez Mendez Saenz, Inc. | 1. PBK |
| 2. PBK | 2. Gignac |
| 3. Gignac | 3. Gomez Mendez Saenz, Inc. |
Interestingly, Superintendent Gonzalez thought the B.O.C. rankings were close. BOC Chaiman Mike Rodriguez replied that that wasn't necessarily the case. Granted, final rankings are subject to site visits of each firm's previous projects, but will the BISD Board have the stones to go against what the B.O.C. (a diverse collection of professionals from the community) recommends?
Stay tuned on this issue.
*On another note, looks like architectural firm Vitetta's infamous steak dinner has yet to pay-off. But never say never with this BISD Trustee Board.
